GIRL SCOUTS--No meetings this summer; the troop is enjoying a summer recess.
"NEW" AFTER SCHOOL STORY TIME--TUESDAYS, 3 TO 4 PM
Beginning on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, we will hold a story hour for students in grades k-3. There will be stories, songs, crafts and activities. Periodically, there will be special guests, IE: firemen from the Pembroke Fire Dept., Cathy Adelman who will introduce weaving and conduct a hands-on activity and biologist, Ray Brown from the Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge, who will present a program on hibernation. Students who attend the Pembroke School have the option of riding the school bus to the library after school.
KNIT WITS--TUESDAY MORNINGS AT 10

IRONWORKS QUILTERS--3rd TUESDAY OF THE MONTH AT 6
Area quilters and quilt lovers gather at the library once a week to share ideas and offer advice to each other. They also offer monthly quilting workshops on the third Saturday of each month, 9 am to 2 pm. For more information, contact Peggy Sawyer at 207-454-3560 and/or visit their Facebook page. Please note: The first Tuesday of each month at 5 pm, the group will meet at the Round Pond home of Marilyn Wimmergren in Charlotte for a pot luck dinner. All are welcome.
YOGA AT THE LIBRARY AND ON ZOOM
Samantha Williams, E-RYT 500 is currently offering her Mindful Flow Yoga class online via Zoom twice per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 am. Mindful Flow Classes focus on cultivating stability, improving balance and mobility, while focusing on being present in the moment. "LI'L BOOKWORMS," STORY TIME THURSDAY MORNINGS AT 10
Created specifically for babies, preschoolers and their parents/caregivers, Li'l Bookworms with Miss Bonnie features stories, music, age-appropriate activities and playtime with other children.
USED BOOK SALE SATURDAY MORNINGS
That's right! Beginning on October 1 and continuing every Saturday morning, we will be having a Used Book Sale on the second floor from 9 am to noon. Genres include action, adventure, mystery, suspense, romance, non-fiction, crafts, children, and more. Additional books will be added weekly. Prices are $1 for hard covers and 50 cents for paperbacks.
