“Voices Across the Border” - Chanteymen from Canada and the U.S.A
The Pembroke Library's monthly Chantey Sing will feature chanteys from all around the Atlantic and the Pacific. Everyone is invited to join on the choruses of these great work songs from “The Age of Sail.” Pembroke’s own chanteyman, Stephen Sanfilippo, will be joined by John Martin, of “Before the Mast,” from New Brunswick, Canada, and Jackson Stein, of Columbia Falls, who learned chanteying while living in New Orleans. The event is “Family Friendly.”

IRONWORKS QUILTERS--THIRD TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 6 PM (APRIL THROUGH OCTOBER)
People who share a common interest in quilting meet at the Pembroke Library on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6 pm (April through October). Workshops are held on the third Saturday of the month from 9 am to about 2 pm. Guests are welcome at all meetings and workshops. "Where friendships are made...one stitch at a time." LIVE TAI CHI AND YOGA CLASSES AT THE LIBRARY AND ON ZOOM
Samantha Williams, E-RYT 500, is currently offering LIVE Tai Chi and Mindful Flow Yoga class at the library on Thursday mornings. LI'L BOOKWORMS, STORY TIME--THURSDAY MORNINGS AT 10 - 11 AM
Created specifically for children ages 0-5 (babies, preschoolers and their parents/caregivers), Li'l Bookworms Storytime with the children's librarian, Miss Bonnie, features stories, music, age-appropriate activities and playtime with other children.
USED BOOK SHOP--OPEN DURING ALL NORMAL LIBRARY HOURS
The library's Used Book Shop, on the second floor, is located between the kitchenette and Community Room. Genres include action, adventure, mystery, suspense, romance, non-fiction, crafts, children, and more. Additional books are added to the shop when available. Prices are $1 each for hard covers and 50 cents for paperbacks.
